Fluorecent Lamps

TIPS:

Many customers do not really understand the quality of the fluorecent lamp, they try to be clever and argue with the price but do not bother the standard of quality even we explain to them..
Look out for the SIRIM logo before you buy.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/sirim#vision.  Without  SIRIM it is not good enough.

Here are some problems face by customers:

1. It will produce a magnetic vibration sound when it switch on.
2. It only last about 1 month and it will smell like a burning  tar with smoke coming out.
3. It is very difficult to start.
4. The brightness cannot compare with the good one.

There are AC , DC, and electronic fluorecent choke and tubes. There have 10W, 15W, 20W, 30W, 40W. There are also 13W, 18W which are used for PLC tubes. Electronic starter have been used nowadays to save electricity and for places where the current which are lower.

There are many types of tubes available, there have many colours such as RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW, ULTRAVIOLET tubes, AQUARIUM tubes, and 827, 830, 840, 72, 54 tubes.

SLE, SPIRAL, PLC have replace fluorecent tubes because they save electricity and save space. It also comes with many colours like fluorecent tubes.

Halogen tubes usually used in industries where required for brigthter brigthness and some of them used as a heater to dry their products faster. Halogen bulbs also available for rechargeble torchlight and ceiling downlight.
